Yes, you can hire a dual-control car starting from $100 per day in Melbourne. This is especially useful for instructors, but may also serve learners needing extra safety.
5. Can I choose between manual and automatic car lessons?
Yes. Kingdom Driving School offers both manual and automatic driving lessons. So, you can learn in the transmission type that suits your preference and long-term driving goals.
6. What areas and types of drivers do you serve?
We provide lessons throughout Melbourne (metro area). We serve learner drivers, P-plate drivers, international licence conversions, and anyone who wants to boost confidence or brush up on road rules.
7. What type of vehicle will the lesson be in?
Lessons are in new automatic cars, one-on-one tuition, with experienced instructors.
8. How long will it take me to learn how to drive?
This depends on individual ability. At Kingdom Driving School they recognise everyone learns at different speeds, but they aim to accelerate learning by tailoring instruction to a student’s strengths and weaknesses.

The number of lessons varies for each learner depending on experience and confidence. Kingdom Driving School provides individualised instruction and will monitor your progress, advising you when you’re ready for the driving test.
11. What does a typical first driving lesson look like? What will we cover?
Your first lesson usually includes:
- A friendly introduction with your instructor
- An explanation of the car’s controls
- Basic safety checks (mirrors, seating, seatbelt, adjustments)
- Learning how to move off and bring the car to a controlled stop
- Steering practice and simple manoeuvres on a quiet, low-traffic road
12. Can I have the same driving instructor for all my lessons (or change if needed)?
Yes. We aim to keep you with the same instructor throughout your training. If you ever feel that you would learn better with someone else, we can arrange a change at any time.

You can book your driving test through us by speaking directly with your instructor. We’ll advise on the best time to book, help you choose a suitable test Centre, and ensure the school car is available on the test date.

We accept all kinds of Australian standard payment method.
16. Do you offer intensive courses or accelerated lesson packages for quick learners?
Yes, our course is structured around each individual learner’s need. So, if you’re a fast learner, we’ll plan our schedule and course accordingly and same with the learners who require a bit more focused learning.
17. Do you teach nervous or anxious drivers?
Yes, our course is really flexible thanks to the professional trainers, who not only teach you the technical aspect of the driving but also how to handle nervous and stressed situation properly.
18. What age or requirements do I need to start the driving lessons?
Here in Victoria, you’ll at least be 16 years old to learn to drive.
